First Aid/CPR Training

Delta Diving is proud to offer CPR courses through DAN, the Divers Alert Network.

You can expect to receive in-depth knowledge of and training on:

  • Emergency Preparation

  • Medical Emergencies

  • Full CPR including rescue breathing and AED usage, with one and two rescuers — adult, child, and infant

  • Obstructed airway (choking) — adult and infant

  • Controlling external bleeding, bandaging and wound management, and treating shock

Casper and Cecíl pose with CPR mannikins as a student holds up an AED trainer. The student has successfully completed their Basic Life Support course!

Our students receive access to a 4-6 hour eLearning which must be completed prior to meeting in-person for our skills and review session.

Included with your course fees are your own CPR mask, a set of non-latex gloves, and waterproof slates with basic first aid information to carry around in a backpack or handbag!

The in-person session is held in a private space curated to put you at ease! (Our feline supervisor, Elpis, will be around to demand pets and offer praise for skills well done. Allergic to cats? We are too - we’ll work with you to make sure you’re comfy and feeling good no matter what!)

Pricing

Payment for a First Aid/CPR (DAN’s Basic Life Support) course is split into a deposit and course fees. The deposit is due at booking and holds your spot, covering the cost of student materials. The course fees are due on arrival to the in-person session, and cover the time Casper and Cecíl spend with you during the course. The deposit is a firm price; our sliding scale comes into play with the course fees.

Delta Diving is proud to offer a sliding scale for all of our services, to help make life-saving skills more accessible for everyone.

We ask that you pay as much as you are able to on the sliding scale — your generosity and respect for our expertise helps other members of our community access these skills who may not have been able to otherwise.

Course Deposit: $30
Course Fees: $50 — $180

Delta Diving can accept payments a few different ways:
Cash, PayPal, or Zelle.

We’ll ask how you plan to pay when you book — it helps us if you pay the course deposit and course fees using the same method, where possible!

Our Commitment is. . .

✓ Equip you with skills to keep yourself and your family safe, at home or while traveling — from scraped knees, to kitchen burns, to life-threatening emergencies like strokes & heart attacks

✓ Teach you in an environment that you feel safe and comfortable in — because you’ll retain the information best if you had a good time learning it in the first place

✓ Hold space for you to practice these skills until you feel confident performing them — if you need to use them, we want you to know you can rise to the occasion

Want to take a class with us? We’re so excited!

Casper and Cecíl are hard at work preparing a new space to hold First Aid/CPR Courses in. We anticipate that we’ll be able to hold our next course in Mid-September 2026 — if you’re interested, please get in touch and we’ll let you know when we have dates set!

I learned a ton and had a lot of fun learning from Cecil and Casper. Both of them were immensely knowledgeable, professional, and incredible at providing a safe space to learn skills that are pretty intimidating due to the nature of their use. So I highly recommend signing up for a class with them if you have a chance. Thanks again.
