Will be conducted in water shallow enough for participants to stand in. Secondary supervision provided. This is not a certification course. This experience will take between 1-2 hrs.

When you’re ready to flip your fins into a certification, this is the place to start. Learn basic breathwork, staying safe with a buddy, and how to swim with a graceful underwater dolphin kick. Great for adults and kids who are comfortable swimming but new to the world of mermaids.

Prerequisites include: ability to swim 25m without swim aids; ability to float comfortably at the surface for at least 3 minutes

Conducted in water that is not more than 15ft deep. Secondary supervision provided. This is a certification course. Course runtime will be about 6-8hrs; this may be over one or two days.

If mermaiding is a way of life for you, or you want it to be, this course offers training in confined and open water, extensive safety training, and recommendations for gear and - if desired - advice on how to get started as a professional mermaid.

Prerequisites include: ability to swim at least 100m without swim aids; ability to float comfortably on the surface for at least 10 mins.

Minimum age: 12 years old

Conducted in confined water (a pool or clear spring) not more than 15ft deep, and open water (a lake or the ocean) not to exceed 30ft deep. There is extra travel associated with taking this course, as it will involve going to an open water location! This is a certification course. Expect it to take place over 10-14hrs, over at least two days.
